Mission Statement
EnableDesign Co., LLC custom designs and builds special furniture and equipment for people with
special needs. The service will be cost competitive with factory made equipment while providing the
benefit of custom design.
Funding
EnableDesign Co., LLC will work with established hospital supply firms to provide the necessary
submissions for approval by Medical Assistance and Insurance providers. EnableDesign also works with
various charities to help provide funding.
Background
I established EnableDesign Co., LLC in 1995 to utilize my talents as a mechanical engineer, designer
and woodworker. I have over 25 years experience as a mechanical engineer in industry and have had
woodworking as a hobby since childhood. I am a member of Northeastern Wisconsin Woodworkers'
guild, an organization for serious woodworkers. As a hobbist woodworker I have built various furniture

The most satisfying activity for me is to engineer solutions to unique problems and turn these designs
into useful equipment.
It is particularly satisfying to solve a problem for which a cost-effective solution was not previously
available.
